Synopsis

“FALL OF THE GODS” part two! Hal Jordan and Kyle Rayner face off against God Killers as they try to protect an injured Orion from certain death. As the battle turns against the Corps, will they have to sacrifice a New God to save an entire sector of space?

Plot

Slyggia- Hal Jordan and Kyle Rayner are protecting Orion from the Eschaton Golem that is attacking him with the singluar goal of stopping the New Gods' heart, and is willing to '"cull" anything that gets in its way.

Hal tries to fight the Golem but is badly failing and the Golem's planet destroying weapon keeps powering up until Kyle has an idea. With the help of Dr. Thaava Kyle removes Orion's heart and replaces it with a construct. This stops Orion's heart and the Golem leaves Slyggia.

Sector 0, Headquarters of the Green Lanterns- Kyle and Hal return with Orion's unconscious but alive body. The attack from the Golem lines up with Graf Toren's vision and John knows the key to the universe's survival resides in Orion's mind.

Two Lobe uses his power to read minds to find out the Golem's history and that their mission is to kill the New Gods. He also gets a name Light Ray. This gives John the information he needs and he sends Hal to find Light Ray and Highfather.
